Certified Fiber to the Home Professional (CFHP)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This comprehensive course covers the end-to-end architecture of FTTH systems — from optical fiber fundamentals, network components, and standards, to design methodologies, testing, and troubleshooting. Participants will gain the expertise required to support the planning and deployment of high-speed broadband networks that meet current and future connectivity demands.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the principles and operation of fiber optic communication systems.
Explain the architecture and components of an FTTH network.
Design efficient and standards-compliant FTTH networks. Identify and select appropriate fiber cables, connectors, and splitters.
Identify and select appropriate fiber cables, connectors, and splitters.
Perform splicing, termination, and optical testing procedures.
Troubleshoot and maintain FTTH systems effectively.
Prepare for and pass the CFHP Certification Examination.
