Training Description

The Working at Height Training course is designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to perform tasks safely when working above ground level. Falls from height remain one of the leading causes of workplace injuries and fatalities — making proper training critical for anyone involved in construction, maintenance, inspection, or access-related work.

Training Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the legal and organizational responsibilities related to working at height.
  • Identify hazards and evaluate risks associated with working at elevated levels.
  • Select, inspect, and properly use fall protection equipment, including harnesses, lanyards, and anchor points.
  • Plan and organize work at height safely, ensuring suitable access, egress, and fall prevention measures.
  • Apply safe working practices when using ladders, scaffolds, and other access platforms.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, including the proper use of rescue procedures for personnel working at height.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture, emphasizing risk awareness and compliance with relevant safety regulations and best practices.
