Training Description

The Confined Space Entry Training course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to safely enter, work in, and exit confined spaces. Working in confined environments presents serious risks such as toxic atmospheres, oxygen deficiency, entrapment, and limited access — making proper training critical for worker safety and regulatory compliance.

Training Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the definition and characteristics of confined spaces and recognize associated hazards.
  • Identify and assess risks before entering a confined space through proper evaluation and hazard analysis.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and supervisors under permit-to-work systems.
  • Apply safe entry procedures, including atmospheric testing and the use of ventilation and monitoring equipment.
  • Select, inspect, and correctly use PPE and respiratory protection appropriate for confined space work.
  • Follow emergency and rescue procedures effectively to ensure quick and safe evacuation during incidents.
